ALEXANDRIA, VA - Former Republican Congressman Jeb Bradley is the apparent winner of the hotly contested special election in the 3rd State Senate District in New Hampshire.  With tremendous resources from both parties put into this race and a high turn out, Bradley's message of limited government and reduced taxes helped push him over the victory line.  This victory builds on the number of Republicans winning at the state and federal level following the November Presidential Election.  The Republican State Leadership Committee, the nation's largest caucus of Republican state leaders, congratulated Bradley on his major victory in New Hampshire. 

- HIGH TURN OUT GIVES REPUBLICAN WIN -

The RSLC implemented a new media strategy focusing on this special election to heighten the awareness of the importance of winning this seat.  Republicans have won five special elections for the state legislature since November, including: Tom Kovach, who won the special election for the 6th District of the Delaware House, which includes part of Vice President-elect Joe Biden's hometown, and Barry Knight who won the special election in the 81st House District in Virginia - DNC Chair Governor Tim Kaine's home state.
