Florida State House Success Gives GOP Another Special Election Win

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Republicans continued their special election dominance, this evening, with a special election victory in Florida’s Fourth House District. Fort Walton Beach’s Matt Gaetz captured the seat, marking the 51st Republican win in state legislative special elections since President Barack Obama took office.

Jankowski and Fehrer to Further Strengthen RSLC Team

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) Chairman Ed Gillespie and Vice-Chairman Tom Reynolds announced, today, that J. Christopher Jankowski will serve as Executive Director of the RSLC’s REDistricting MAjority Project (REDMAP) and Sarah Fehrer will join as Senior Vice President for Development of the RSLC.  REDMAP, a program of the RSLC, is dedicated to winning state legislative seats that will impact Congressional redistricting and the next decade’s political landscape.

State House Win is 13th Republican Gain Since November 2008

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Less than a month after holding a Republican state senate seat, Granite State Republicans have scored another special-election victory, this time taking away a state house seat from the Democrats. Republican John Tholl was elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives, yesterday, after running a campaign based on lower taxes, less spending and smaller government.
